Below is my entry for The Bright Owl's Zendala Dare #25. In places I seemed to ignore the lines of the template so I'm not entirely sure I did this challenge correctly. It was fun to try anyway. I choose not to believe there are rules when it comes to anything art related, thought I do wish I had left more white space in the middle. You can also tell I started getting bored with the vines. They got very messy, very quickly. I like the repetitiveness ...but only to an extent. Then I get impatient, wanting to get to the next tangle. Click here to see the other entries!

Your Zendala does not look messy to me - lol. I like it. Like the variety of tangles you chose.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I tried to put more white space in the triangle sections since the center is so dense.
DeleteYour vines are cute-I don't think it's messy! You gave a wonderful feeling of whimsy to this one.
ReplyDeleteI think it's quite nice. But I also agree with you about the white parts. Well, we all learn with every drawing we make.
ReplyDeleteI like yours!
ReplyDeleteYou feel that you don't like the rules ... a bit like me.
My attempt for this dare was total chaos for me, on the paper and in my mind.
Nice work! Love the variety of tangles!
ReplyDeleteLove the folds...lovely work!
